Took the job at the pet store, and also kind of took the job at the grocery distributor…

sooo confused.

But, the grocery job probably wouldn’t work out anyway considering I’d have to work in SE Portland instead of the store close to home, and take the bus everyday. They want me for weekends, and the bus schedule doesn’t work well with that.

Anyway, it may not pay much for now, but I’m employed!

Thoroughly creeped out by the restaurant owner/manager that I interviewed with last week, and who offered me a job tonight. I’ve been called by him seven times, three to four of which calls have been through his cell phone, or home phone, at no earlier than 9 o’clock at night.

That’s just straight up not appropriate. If you want to offer me the job and can’t somehow find the time during the day, then take an extra five minutes before the end of your shift and call me while still at the restaurant. DO NOT CALL ME AFTER HOURS AT YOUR HOME.

Needless to say, I will not be taking this job.

*shudders*

Having tattoos and piercings is not unprofessional.

What’s unprofessional is turning down an aspiring employee due to superficial reasons and not their skill level or experience.

Basically this week for me…
